“20. (1) Subject to subsection 21(1), an inspector may, for the purpose of verifying compliance or preventing non-compliance with this Act or the regulations, at any reasonable time enter a place, including a conveyance, in which they have reasonable grounds to believe that a consumer product is manufactured, imported, packaged, stored, advertised, sold, labeled, tested or transported, or a document relating to the administration of this Act or the regulations is located.”

The worrisome part is when the gun confiscations start. They will come with guns a blazing when the SHTF! Anyone seen the gun confiscations video in new Orleans after hurricane Katrina. Soldiers going door to door and confiscating guns off legal gun owners. Completely anti-constitutional!

So true! This is the reason they are slowly taking away our rights to bear arms in North America. An unarmed citizen is an easy victim. Then they come into your home anytime they want like a band of thieves.

No Defence. Those named in a notice of violation are not allowed to defend themselves by truthfully
claiming that they exercised due diligence to prevent the violation. Innocence and truth are irrelevant.

Bypassing Parliament. Health Canada intends to expand the powers of C-6 even further by issuing
Orders in Council which will not be subject to parliamentary debate. [36]

Presumed Guilty. Anyone whom is believed to have contravened sections of the Act is deemed guilty of
an offence even if their products are totally safe. Anyone who pays a fine is deemed to have
committed the violation in respect of which the amount is paid. [38(1); 50(1)(a)]

Lack of Training. The Minister may designate any person she wishes to be enforcers of the Act,
regardless of their qualifications, training, or experience. [28; 33]
Unlimited Powers. Inspectors may take any measures they consider necessary to remedy non-
compliance with the Act, including putting the person out of business. [31(2)]
Excessive Penalties. Anyone who contravenes a provision of the Act may be fined up to $5,000,000 and
imprisoned for up to five years. [38(1)(3)].

Use of Force. Inspectors may be accompanied by peace officers authorized to use force. [21(3)]
Confiscation. Goods seized may never be returned to their owner. Anything seized may become
forfeited to Her Majesty in right of Canada (i.e., the Health Ministry) [25; 26; 27; 61]

Disclosure of Confidential Information. The Health Minister intends to disclose personal and
confidential business information to third parties without the consent of the person to whom the
information relates and without notifying that person. [15; 16]
Unreasonable Search and Seizure. Inspectors may enter any premises where they believe there are
products relating to the Act. They may examine anything and seize anything they deem relevant.

The following features are included in Bill C-6:
Scientific Ignorance. In the total absence of scientific evidence of harm caused by a particular product,
Health Canada intends to take action against the vendors of that product simply because they believe
that it may have an adverse effect on a persons health. [Preamble; 2]
Allegiance to Foreign Governments. Health Canada intends to ignore Canadian sovereignty. [2(e)(f);

I’m a government building inspector, and let me tell you this law goes wayyyy too far. I do NOT want to enter peoples homes without permission, its wrong, and I guarantee you will have a lot of dead Health Canada inspectors.
Trust me, you enter someones home they will shoot you and claim they thought you were trying to break in. Any inspector dumb enough to do this will get either beat up or shot. I do this job for a living, I know people, I would refuse to do this for my own safety.

This is why the U.S. has the 2nd amendment so that the “citizens” can protect themselves from the “government”. Canadians had the right to keep arms in our defence as well. When the government was busy cracking down on law abiding firearms owners the entire non gun owning public was silent to applauding the move. now the government is going after someone else. Maybe now people will get it. Every right is dependant on another right. I have the ability to remove an inspector I’ll bet you don’t

Wake up, people! This is part of THE NEW WORLD ORDER, the doctrine that the USA are following to control de world’s resources (oil is just one of them) and US, the world’s citizens! We should get Harper and his croonies out of office, and fire the corrupt politicians who have sold us out for political appointments, and who knows? almighty CASH!
